Registration, messages and calls need your running server.

Host your own conversations

  1. Download the starter and follow its README.
  2. Connect the Node.js service to your in-house SMTP server.
  3. Configure coturn for calls across networks.
  4. Register two email accounts and complete both profiles.
  5. Send and accept a contact request, then message, share files or call.

Email verification, accounts, contacts, unread messages and missed calls are included. Messages and files remain on your server. Closed-app ringing still requires mobile push notifications.
